The Legend of the Underground: Per an official HBO description, this doc “follows a group of youth challenging ideals of gender, conformity, and civil rights in Nigeria.” 9 p.m. ET on HBO

Sophie: A Murder in West Cork: Read the official description for this miniseries, below. Streaming on Netflix 

“This three-part series examines one of Ireland’s most famous murder cases, the death of French producer Sophie Toscan du Plantier in the town of Schull, West Cork, in 1996.
